Prayer

We spend a lot of our time talking (sometimes we even talk to ourselves!). But there is one conversation that can be especially transformative: talking with God. We believe that prayer changes things; and the first thing to change is us!

The Bible says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.” ~Phil 4:6

But prayer isn’t a one way street; God will respond. Because God is our loving, heavenly Father and is actively involved in caring for His children, He does not give us the silent treatment. He guides and comforts, reminds us of things, gives us peace and love, and steers us in the right direction.
